Santorini

Santorini is the island that bewitches the old and the young… how could it not, since its beauty is to be found nowhere else. This volcanic island with its black petrified-lava-color and the most famous sunset ever has been rightfully named the “black pearl of the Aegean”!

Υour trip begins at your base. Our bus picks you up with our bus from the main street of Artemis Apartments early in the morning  drives you to the port of Rethymnon, which is where the ship departs from.

The ship departs from Rethymnon at 7:30 and arrives on Santorini Island two and a half to three hours later. As soon as you reach the island, a coach with tour guides picks you up from the port; the guides accompany you on an island-trip.

The first stop is Oia and takes place at 11:45; you stay there for 1 hour and 45 minutes.

The second stop is Fira and takes place at around 13:50; you stay there for 1 hour and 50 minutes.

Subsequently, anybody who wishes so can remain in Fira till 17:10, whereas the rest can go to the beach (Perissa) at will, where they may remain till 17:15, before they return to the ship.

The ship departs from Santorini at 17:45 and arrives in Rethymnon at 21:00.

When you reach the port, our bus will be waiting to drive you back to your hotel.

Optional trip to the Volcano:

The trip’s itinerary doesn’t include a trip to the Volcano.

However, if you wish to visit it, you are absolutely able to not spend any time on the beach or in Fira at all and to take the boat to the Volcano. You must declare your intention to do so on the ship to Santorini.
